Olga is a Russian fine art photographer who now lives and works in the Czech Republic. The main theme of her work is the human body, the representation of its expression and the perfection. She uses this consciously to manipulate impressions, forms and thoughts. To convey this to the viewer, Olga uses a combination of lines, shapes and light whilst simultaneously observing the aesthetics of the visualisation and skilfully implementing her ideas. Her photos are as multifaceted as her ideas. Nothing distracts you — does this mean her models are a means to an end? No, they are central in the image, but rather the message being conveyed is stripped of the superfluous. So it’s not surprising that her models are often naked so that the combined shapes and lines can create space for the formation of the entire work. This is sometimes linear and clear, but then sometimes dreamy and even quite emotional. Her success is reflected in the numerous awards and accolades she has received and awareness of her work is growing steadily through exhibitions, publications and books.
