Some time ago somebody gave me the hint to look at the pictures of Wojtek Kwiatkowski, a Polish photographer. He specializes in animal pictures and mainly takes photographs of horses. When I saw his pictures, I was more than surprised and thrilled. I have not discovered anything like this to date. His Photos draw us into the spell, they fascinate and move into a wonder. What defines Wojtek’s great photographic gift is that he succeeds in capturing the brute power and untamed strength of these animals in pictures. One can almost feel the trampling hoofs and sense the proud character of the individual animals and feel their magnanimity. In addition, his game with light and shadow, the choice of the right location, as a whole placing the animals in the right light, creating atmosphere, and capturing this excitement in his pictures. It was a real pleasure to browse through his portfolio and discovering something new each time. And these are not just horses.
