The Indian Photographer Karthik has discovered his passion for photography 3 years ago. Starting with macro photography and shots of insects and landscapes in the domestic backyard he found his passion in the streets of his hometown. So his pictures are somewhere between street photography and documentaries, but his style is moving more towards the street. As he says so aptly, life starts at the front door and there is much to discover. Karthik understands how to convince with his photos, the themes of the streets tell the everyday stories he discovers, the black-and-white of his photographs emphasizes this and conveys the impressions and insights in a perfect way. His photographic objective to realistically recreate and reproduce the various characters and random scenes that meet him on the streets simultaneously encourage and motivate him. And to this he does justice in any form. Without question, Karthik has enormous potential and talent, from which a lot can be expected in future.
